Bug Plates
When I was little, I was outside whenever I got the chance. One of my favorite outdoor activities was flipping up the rocks that formed the borders of the flower beds in the backyard and hunting for bugs. My favorites were the roly-polys, the wooly worms, the beetles, and the super long and skinny earthworms. My friends would never join me on my bug hunts, but that never stopped me. While I still love catching an occasional bug out in the wild, those moments are few and far between. So, I made these plates to pay my respects to the days of bug hunts and mud pies.
